I got up at 9:45 today and fed myself and finished my list of all the classes I would like to take before I graduate from this college. I'll put the list up here sometime. It is not very helpful in selecting a major, because the courses are all over the map. The most are probably in Linguistics, Art History, and English. I want to take a class in Cities at Bryn Mawr. Anyway, when I got back after class, the piece of paper with my list had been filled with records of quotes and Ester's distinctive doodles executed with the same gold gel pen. Ester's doodling consists of words and phrases (in this case a few long ones) selected from the conversation interspersed with multiplying butterflies. Examining the margins of her notebooks gives a unique glimpse into what the conversation she was having was about. There was a quote from Joel about smoking pot during the coming war years, and one from Ester about my music being like a v-chip. I don't understand that one.
