I've been up past two every night for about a week now, well after some nights, and waking up before ten, well before some days. Mynchon was a little trying just because I was so tired, more because I was so tired when I finished the book last night. I want/have to go back and reread the last fifty pages or so more carefully, but like everything else (Tennyson, Catherine Williams, Bulgakov, etc.) it will just have to wait for a while. I am going to allow myself plenty of sleep tonight (although I'll either go to salsa or film society, or maybe both, so I won't be back too early.) Maybe I'll nap now, before African.
The only Smog song I know which Alyssa put on a tape for me, which Drew played on WSRN last night as part of a whole side of the album since he had too much work to play individual songs:
