so now it's, what, the weekend? my schedule the semester (the schedule for my last semester) as it stands now is awfully imbalanced toward the front of the week - at this point i only have one academic class (meeting) left to attend, plus the film class i want-to-audit-but-does-that-make-sense? even more so my workload. lots of little bits of writing - a total of i think 17 small papers for three classes, plus one longer one for each. and most of the small ones are due sunday and monday nights, which is also my phoenix deadline, which means i'll either have to be really disciplined with advance workplanning or i'll have a lot of worky weekends. probably both will happen sometimes. but i also intend to get away for at least three weekends (w-kena, b-klyn, b-ton.) eh, it'll work.
the deal with patty's class is that she'd rather have me take it for credit - but five creds seems like a real bad scene, even though some of the others are on the lite side. i do have one p/f left… i need to see how important the reading is going to be, cuz if i take the class in any capacity i'll probably be sucked into doing a lot of it. (not that i did for her last one, which i did have for credit. but still. i'm supposed to be a theoryhead, or something.) really, i think i just need her to provide a counterbalance to the overwhelming deadpan, uberarticulate, male erudition of my other profs.
hey, the upswing of the netflix shenanigans is that i now somehow have five dvds out, with another one on the way (you're only supposed to have three at a time.) anyone up for a movie tonight? after state of the union drinking games? (i've been hyphenating phrases too much. have to catch myself.)
in other not-news, it's dayumm cold outside. but today the new york times sent me not one but two warm, fleecy blankies. they're so sweet.
